June 11, 2012

In this we are going to see how we can run multiple JBoss windows service.

I believe jbosssvc is installed!

Steps to be followed

  • Copy the Service.bat to different files (ex. JBService-HR.bat, JBService-Fin.bat)
  • Edit the batch files and change the following
    • .r.lock, s.lock, run.log, shutdown.log (Specify different files)
    • jbosssvc.exe -imwdc %SVCNAME% “%DIRNAME%” “%SVCDISP%” “%SVCDESC%” JBService-HR.bat
    • jbosssvc.exe -imwdc %SVCNAME% “%DIRNAME%” “%SVCDISP%” “%SVCDESC%” JBService-Fin.bat
    • call standalone.bat -Djboss.server.base.dir=../HR < .hr.lock >> runhr.log 2>&1
    • call standalone.bat -Djboss.server.base.dir=../Fin< .fin.lock >> runfin.log 2>&1
  • Now install the service like
    • JBService-HR.bat install
    • JBService-Fin.bat install

You are ready to go….  🙂
